BIGG BOSS s16 is finally here!!!

Bigg Boss s16! Here are the 16 Contestants who are confirmed for the new season!!  

Popular Indian TV reality show Bigg Boss is set to return with its 16th season soon. The show that started in 2008 has received immense popularity in India. Based on the Dutch reality game show Big Brother was the first of its kind show in our country. Over the years, the show has witnessed lots of drama and controversies, which is the reason why it keeps the viewers engaged. All the previous seasons were among the most watched reality shows in the country.

The popularity of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who has been hosting the show continuously since its 9th season, is one the big reasons behind the show’s success. Over the years, we have seen all the moods whether chill, angry or angry, in the show.

Salman is again roped in by the makers as the host in the 16th season too. Reportedly, the actor has sought a three-time hike in the fees to host the upcoming season ,which is approx. Rs. 1000 crore. As per recent reports, the show is set to be aired from October 1, 2022, on Colors TV 

Recently, popular tv face Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya clears that she is not entering BB16:

Like the previous seasons, this season will also witness some of the popular names of the entertainment industry, as the contestants of the show. However, the makers are yet to announce their names, here is the completed list of stars who are approached to be the contestant of the show. 

1- MUNMUN DUTTA 

The first celeb on the list is hot and beautiful actress Munmun Dutta, who earns immense popularity for playing the role of Babita Iyer in SAB TV’s popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. She also made a guest appearance in Big Boss 15. She is the winner of Indian Television Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. 

2- JANNAT ZUBAIR RAHMANI 

Jannat Zubair Rahmani is a social media influencer and actress who rose to fame playing Kashi in Kashi- Ab Na Rahe Tera Kagaz Kora. She is currently competing in Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 12 which is set to come to an end on 24-25 September. After the show’s end she will be a part of Bigg Boss 16 as a contestant. 

3- MUNAWAR FARUQUI 

Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui is one of the most loved TV personalities, whom fans admire the most. He is also the winner of Kangana Ranaut’s reality show Lock Upp and after that fans were expecting him to come on Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 12, but it couldn’t happen. However, this time it is being reported that he will come on Bigg Boss 16 and is one of the highly-anticipated names among the expected contestants. 

4- KANIKA MANN 

Actress Kanika Mann, best known for playing Guddan in Zee TV’s serial Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, is among the contestants confirmed for Bigg Boss 16. She is currently competing in Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 12 and emerged in the top 6 contestants. She has also acted in a few Punjabi movies like Rocky Mental, Daana Paani, etc. 

5- FAISAL SHAIKH 

Social media influencer Faisal Shaikh is the other name in the list of contestants of Bigg Boss 16. He is one of the popular faces on social media. He is currently competing in Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 12 which is all set to come to an end on 24-25 September. He is expected to emerge as the winner of KKK12. After that, he might enter the Bigg Boss house. 

6- POONAM PANDEY 

Sizzling and hot actress-model Poonam Pandey may join the Bigg Boss 16. She is social media’s popular and controversial face, who often makes headlines for her bold looks and statements. She has also participated in MX Player’s reality show Lock Upp, hosted by Kangana Ranaut.

7- VIVIAN DSENA 

Actor Vivian Dsena, known for playing Abhay Raichand in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahani, is to enter Bigg Boss House as one of the contestants. He has also participated in reality shows like Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8. 

8- SHIVANGI JOSHI 

Actress Shivangi Joshi recently participated in Colors TV’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 where she finished in 12th place. She is best known for playing a dual role in Star Plus’s popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The makers of Bigg Boss have approached her to be a part of the show. 

9- RAJEEV SEN 

Rajeev Sen, who is the younger brother of former Miss Universe and Bollywood Diva Sushmita Sen, was also approached to be a part of Bigg Boss 16. He was recently in the news due to the headlines surfacing regarding his divorce from Charu Asopa. Reportedly Charu was also approached for the show. They have a daughter Ziana. 

10- TINA DUTTA 

Tina Dutt, best known for playing Meethi in Colors TV’s popular show Uttaran was approached by the makers and it is being reported that she been finalised for Bigg Boss 16. Earlier, she also participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 7. It will be interesting to see if she is going to be part of the show or not. 

11- PARAS KALNAWAT 

Actor Paras Kalnawat who made headlines after he was terminated from Star Plus’s popular show Anupamaa, is also reported to be a part of Bigg Boss 16. He is currently a participant in popular dancer-based reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. 

12- GURNAM BHULLAR 

Popular Punjabi singer-actor Gurnam Bhullar has also been approached for the upcoming show. However, it is not known whether he has accepted the proposal or not. He is known for appearing in Punjabi films like Guddiyan Patole and Surkhi Bindi. 

13- SANAYA IRANI 

Actress Sanaya Irani, best known for playing Gunjan in Star One’s popular coming-of-age show Miley Jab Hum Tum, might enter the show as a contestant. She participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8 and emerged as the first runner-up, and in Nach Baliye 8 with her husband Mohit Sehgal and finished at third place. 

14- FARMANI NAAZ  

Singer Farmani Naaz, who recently surfaced headlines after singing a Shiv Bhajan “Har Har Shambhu”, has also been approached to be a part of the show. Her viral song, on one side, impressed many people, and a section of society criticised her for singing the song praising Lord Shiva, because of her being a Muslim. She was also a contestant of Indian Idol12. 

15- PRAKRUTI MISHRA 

Actress Praruti Mishra is one of those celebs who are almost confirmed to be the part of Bigg Boss 16. She is the recipient of National Film Award – Special Mention for her performance in Odia film Hello Arsi. She also participated in the reality show MTV Ace of Space 2 and ended up as 5th runner-up. 

16- MADIRAKSHI MUNDLE 

Actress Madirakshi Mundle, who rose to fame after playing Sita in Star Plus’ show “Siya ke Ram” and Lakshmi in Star Bharat’s “Jag Janani  Maa Vaishno Devi- Kahani Mata Rani Ki”. As per recent reports, she has been confirmed as the contestant in Bigg Boss Season 16.
