Shark Tank season 2 will soon air on Sony Entertainment. The sequel of the much-celebrated show is all set to become the talk of the town with its novel ideas, interesting concepts, and even some meme-worthy content. A major reason behind the mammoth success of the first season was the newness that it offered to an otherwise stagnant nature of Indian tv content.
Peyush Bansal, the founder of Lenskart company, is one of the sharks on the panel. The 37 years old entrepreneur recently opened up about the apprehensions he had about part two of the show. While talking to the Indian Express, Bansal talked about the issues with the fan following the show.
“The only reason that I wasn’t keen on coming back was there’s too much fan following. I truly believe in ‘all glory is fleeting’ and didn’t want a life like this. I want a normal life, for me and my son, who’s just 2.5 years old. But at the same time, the spark that I see in the eyes of people made me finally relent.”, said Bansal.
As the sharks are promoting season two of the show on several shows, they are sharing many interesting stories about how their lives changed after the first season. While talking to the Film Companion, the sharks opened up about the most uncommon places where people pitched their businesses, from public washrooms to pani puri wallahs, there were several such incidents shared.
After more than 30-40 days I stepped out to a mall and had so many people noticing and walking up to me. And then, I was at the airport, wearing a double mask, a cap and shield kind of thing. I was at the counter asking for my boarding pass, and this girl, who was standing at the other counter, asked if I was Peyush Bansal. When I asked how did you recognise me, she said, ‘I know your voice.’ It was so crazy,” said Peyush on The Kapil Sharma Show.
Shark Tank 2 will air on January 2, 2022. Controversial shark from season 1, Ashneer Grover has been replaced by the founder of Car Dekho company in the second season.
