Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s younger brother Prahlad Modi met with an accident near Mysuru, Karnataka. Reports suggest that Modi was traveling with his son, daughter in law and grandson to Bandipur. The family, which is currently in JSS Hospital, has sustained minor injuries and are safe.

Pralhad Modi has revealed in an interview that he has not met his brother since he became the Prime Minister of the country. He also stated that the two met only three times from 2006-2014. “He has dedicated his life to the welfare of the nations. We did not meet even when he came to Gandhinagar to seek the blessings of our mother after his swearing in last year. I am a shopkeeper. I do not enjoy any special rights or privileges being the Prime Minister’s sibling. Yes, as a protocol I have been provided security.” said Pralhad Modi in an old interview.
