An Ex IAS Officer’s Daughter Seen Vandalising Diwali Shops : Twitter Reacts

A video is surfacing the internet where a young woman is seen vandalising roadside stalls in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It was later reported that the woman, a doctor by profession, is the daughter of a former IAS officer Shankar Lal.

The Reason

Aaj Tak reported that the lady had warned the shopkeepers to remove the shops, when they did not budge, she poured water on their items and later broke them with sticks. Madam came in the morning and asked us to remove our shops and also poured water on our diyas and other decorative items. The lady was reportedly unhappy that the vendors had put up the stalls in front of her house. The incident happened in Gomtinagar’s Patrakarpuram.

What Did The Vendors Say?

“She went on a rampage and destroyed Diya stalls. It was all destroyed. I told her to give them some time. We would load items on a vehicle and shift to another place, but she did not listen.” said one of the local shopkeepers to the Aaj Tak Reporter
