The Punjab Police Anti-Gangster Task Force has killed two gangsters, Jagroop Singh Roopa and Manpreet Singh alias Mannu Kussa, near Amritsar. The duo was suspected of the murder of the singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moosewala.
The encounter reportedly ensued from an intense gunfight between the Punjab Police and the two gangsters. The encounter was reported from Hoshiar Nagar village near the Attari border with Pakistan.

Finally Justice has prevailed in Sidhu Moosewala's case.
The Gangsters who killed Sidhu Moosewala were killed in an encounter by Punjab Police today.

Jagrap Singh, alias Roopa is one of the eight suspected gangsters who killed Moosewala. He is also believed to be connected to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, believed to be the mastermind behind the murder.
Roopa’s father was a driver but later took up farming on two acres of land in the village of Jaura. Roopa made friends with the wrong people in school, as he soon became a drug addict. His parents tried to convince him to quit drugs but failed miserably.

His drug addiction further pushed him into robbery and dacoity. As he went out of control, his parents removed him from their house. He left the village and vowed never to return. Soon, he got involved in big crimes like asking for ransom, quarrels, assault, and attempt to murder. He has been booked under the arms act and for selling drugs, before being suspected for the murder of Sidhu Moosewala.

The personal details of Manpreet Manu are not available, except for the fact that he was born in India. He too is connected with gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Canada-based Goldie Brar, who claimed responsibility for the murder on Facebook. The Delhi Police has confirmed that Manu was the first person to shoot Moosewala.

An AK47 and a pistol have been recovered from The gangsters Roopa and Manu. Police teams from Anti-Gangster Task Force, State Special Operation Cell, and Organized Crime Control Unit have cordoned off the area. Also, local gurudwaras have ordered people to stay indoors, keeping in mind the security situation.
