A Chaiwala In Bengaluru Accepts Crypto; Netizens Can’t Keep Calm

It has come to light that a small tea vendor from Bengaluru, the Silicon Valley of India, is accepting cryptocurrency. A Twitter user spotted the tea vendor who had written on his slate stating ‘Crypto accepted here’. People have been calling it ‘peak Bengaluru moment.’ Furthermore, it is a small step to a larger level of adoption.

Cryptocurrency as a form of payment is extremely realistic in the future. Like UPI, it could soon be possible for small streetside vendors to accept it. Moreover, stable coins like Bitcoin or Ethereum could be a great way to pay.
