Subi Suresh, one of the most popular faces on Malayalam television, an anchor, and actress passed away on Wednesday at a private hospital in Kochi. According to industry sources she had been ailing with liver complications for a while and she breathed her last today at the age of 41.

• She was born into a well-to-do family in Kochi, Kerala (1988).

• She completed her schooling at the Radcliffe School, Kochi, Kerala, India. After that, she enrolled herself at St. Teresa’s College, a women’s college in Kerala from where she completed her graduation. She was passionate about participating in debate and speech competitions during her school time.

• Subi Suresh started her career as an anchor at ‘Cinema’, a Malayalam Comedy series. From 13 August 1993, she started working as an anchor in the famous Malayalam TV comedy series titled ‘Cinemala’.

   

• She was a popular mimicry artiste – a rarity among females – and then became a busy TV serial actress. Soon her popularity increased and was known for her charming and pleasing character.

• She also made her appearance in the popular Malayalam TV serial titled ‘Thaksara Lahala’ in the year 2010. In the year 2012, she has also made her appearance in the Malayalam movie titled ‘Grihanathan’ in the year 2012.

• Later in 2018, she worked in the TV show ‘Drama’. Apart from these, she has also participated in various Malayalam TV shows as an anchor and a comedian.
