BJP MLA Jadab Lal Nath from Tripura has allegedly been caught watching porn inside the state parliament. Reports and the leaked video suggest that the member of the Tripura house was watching porn on his tablet during the assembly section.
While Nath was watching porn on his tablet, a video was captured by someone standing right behind him. According to reports, the incident took place in the Tripura assembly on March 27.

Who is Jadab Lal Nath?
Nath was a CPI(M) activist before he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party ahead of the 2018 elections. His first election under the BJP ticket was against the former speaker Ramendra Chandra Debnath, which he lost. However, Nath was victorious in the recently held 2023 assembly elections.

“We came to know about this episode through the media last night. I also had a talk with Jadab Lal Nath at night. I called them today. A notice will also be issued to him on behalf of the party. We will seek an explanation from him. MLA Jadab Lal says that this has been under a conspiracy. He will give his explanation on this matter to the party.” said Rajeev Bhattacharya, Tripura BJP President while interacting with Lallantop.

The first time this happened in the history of India’s parliamentary proceedings was in 2012. BJP members Laxman Savadi and CC Patil were caught watching porn on the camera of a local Kannada Channel. Karnataka’s opposition Janata Dal-Secular (JDS) leader and the former Chief Minister of the state, HD Kumaraswamy termed the incident as a black spot on democracy.
