Indian journalist Nidhi Razdan quit NDTV. Razdan is the third high-profile resignation from the news organisation in the last few months. She had worked with NDTV for over two decades. She even put out a tweet hinting at her resignation. “Roller coaster ride but you have to know when to get off”, read her tweet. Razdan’s resignation comes just days after Sreenivasan Jain from the channel submitted his resignation.

Nidhi Razdan is best known as a TV anchor to the current generation. However, she has had a decorated reporting career to back it up.
Razdan has rich experience in reporting on political, economic, and social stories. Besides national politics, she has also reported on foreign affairs. Amongst several high-profile cases, Razdan has brought out the events from the J&K elections, and earthquakes in Gujarat and Kashmir, for the people.

Victim to a phishing attack
Nidhi Razdan publicly stated in 2020 that she was approached for the job of an “Associate Professor”, at Harvard University. As a result of the ‘offer,’ Nidhi even resigned from her job at NDTV. However, months later in 2021, it was found that the offer was untrue and Razdan fell victim to an extremely sophisticated phishing attack.
Nidhi Razdan and Neelesh Misra
In 2005, Nidhi Razdan got married to an acclaimed writer and poet, Neelesh Misra. The couple was married for two years, until 2007 when they got divorced. The reason behind the divorce of the couple is unknown. Neelesh Misra later got married to Yasmini Misra, with whom he has a daughter.

Nidhi Razdan is a recipient of several awards. She was awarded the famous Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism for reporting from J&K and the North – Eastern India. In 2011, she was acknowledged as the Best Anchor at Exchange4media Awards.
Her most recent award was for excellence in journalism for the Kathua rape and murder case by the International Press Institute.
