The disturbing events took place in Gurgaon, where a mosque was set on fire, and the naib imam fell victim to an alleged mob of 70-80 people. To curb the further spread of violence, authorities have taken preventive measures. A curfew was imposed in Nuh, and central forces were deployed to the region. Furthermore, internet services were temporarily suspended in both the affected area and several neighboring districts.
Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij announced on Monday that the government had ordered the suspension of Internet services in Mewat following the outbreak of violence in Nuh. He emphasized that efforts were actively being made to restore peace and stability in the region, and the authorities were also focused on rescuing those who were stranded and affected by the disturbances.
