Haryana experienced a devastating escalation in communal conflicts, claiming the lives of four individuals. The disturbing events took place in Gurgaon, where a mosque was set on fire, and the naib imam fell victim to an alleged mob of 70-80 people. Responding swiftly to the incident on Monday night, authorities have already identified some of the suspects and assured the public that appropriate actions will be taken, as confirmed by DCP (East) Nitish Aggarwal.

In the wake of the violence that occurred during the ‘Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra,’ organized by the Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Haryana’s Nuh district, three more lives were lost. The unfortunate event saw clashes between groups, leading to the deaths of three individuals, including two home guards, while injuring twelve police personnel through gunfire and stone pelting.

To curb the further spread of violence, authorities have taken preventive measures. A curfew was imposed in Nuh, and central forces were deployed to the region. Furthermore, internet services were temporarily suspended in both the affected area and several neighboring districts.

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij announced on Monday that the government had ordered the suspension of Internet services in Mewat following the outbreak of violence in Nuh. He emphasized that efforts were actively being made to restore peace and stability in the region, and the authorities were also focused on rescuing those who were stranded and affected by the disturbances.

As the situation remains tense and sensitive, efforts are being made to bring about calm and stability to the affected regions in Haryana. Law enforcement agencies are actively investigating the incidents and taking measures to bring those responsible for the violence to justice. The government and local authorities are also focusing on restoring communal harmony and promoting peace among different communities in the state.

The Haryana Government has officially announced the continuation of internet service suspension in Nuh district until August 2nd. The decision aims to curb the dissemination of misinformation and rumors via social media platforms, as stated in the official notification (ANI).
