In an alarming development, a distressing incident unfolded in Uttar Pradesh’s Siddharthnagar district, where two underage individuals were reportedly subjected to a disturbing ordeal.

Accused of theft, they were forced into consuming urine and injected with an unknown substance by a group of individuals. While the incident occurred on Friday, it’s shocking details emerged on Sunday following the circulation of a viral video showcasing the harrowing mistreatment of the two boys, aged approximately ten and fifteen, across social media platforms. Authorities have taken swift action, detaining six individuals believed to be linked to the incident and currently engaging them in questioning, as per police sources.

According to sources, the young boys faced allegations of theft centered around a poultry farm adjacent to Konkati Crossing within the district. The owner of the poultry establishment had suspected that the boys had stolen both chickens and a sum of money from the premises. In a distressing video, the boys are depicted bound with ropes and subjected to physical abuse by a group of individuals. Allegations emerged that these young victims were subjected to further humiliation, including the rubbing of green chillies on their private parts and they were also forced to drink urine. The minors were also injected with a liquid, which, according to reports, was petrol.

Following the incident, law enforcement confirmed the registration of a formal complaint, leading to the apprehension of six individuals for interrogation. “We have acknowledged the existence of the video and are currently scrutinizing its contents. Resolute measures will be undertaken against those found responsible,” asserted a high-ranking official from Siddharthnagar. The police further disclosed their successful identification of the individuals featured in the distressing video, depicting the torment of the minors, and have initiated a pursuit to apprehend these suspects.
