The Indian National Congress was formed in 1885. The party which wishes to regain power, has released its manifesto for the Karnataka 2023 elections. It has promised to repeal all unjust laws that have been put in place by the ruling government in the state. If elected to power, the party promises transparency and accountability in all areas.

Congress will install high-speed wifi hotspots in every village panchayat in the state.
₹50,000 crore in five years to improve the conditions in villages including providing clean drinking water, sanitation, basic education, health and decent roads. To increase the number of women police officers in the state and invest Rs 200 crore in agro based village industries run by women.
The manifesto has put forth 5 guarantees; 200 units of free electricity to all houses, providing Rs. 2,000 monthly, to every woman head of family. 10kg food grains to BPL families, unemployment support to the youth, and free travel to women under state buses. It will ban organisations which promote enmity or hatred among minority or majority communities.
The promotion of Karnataka cuisine in every tourist spot, Karnataka Kitchen is important for the Congress Party, as it also wishes to protect all historical places.
It will reject the National Education Policy (NEP). To make mid-day meals more nutritious. To establish job-oriented skill education centers in all colleges and universities. To set up 10 special education schools and employ special ed teachers on a permanent basis.
It will provide ration cards and other important identity cards to those of transgender community.
A special law to punish those perpetrators of corruption will be enacted to put an end to corruption in public works and create a transparent tender system in the Public Works Department (PWD). The party if elected to power will bring back an efficient government system.
