Ever since Salaar’s teaser was released, fans have been going wild with Prabhas’ acting and the story. Saalar is an upcoming action thriller movie in the Telugu language that was written and directed by Prashanth Neel and was made by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films.

It stars Prabhas as the lead character, along with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju.
However, if you notice, it has been produced by Hombale Films and directed by Prashanth Neel. Yes, the same production house and director for KGF.
To remind you, the KGF movies were set in the famed Kolar Gold Fields, hence deriving the name KGF. Now a new popular fan theory emerged on Twitter stating that Salaar and KGF are linked, and there is a possibility of a crossover, or at least both the movies are partially parallel to and after the timelines.

The Same Military Base:
In the first part, when journalists from the TV channel visited the site of Rocky Bhai’s statue, a man is seen telling them that in 2014, there was a military base near KGF and that trespassing was not allowed.
But the question comes, why did the military have a base until 2014? Could it be possible that the military base was abandoned after Rocky Bhai was killed as the motive was completed? Many speculations here.

But one thing is clear the military base shown in KGF 2 (as shown in the post-credit scene) and in Salaar is the same military base as seen below.

Same Military Outfit:
The new fan theory pointed out that the military camouflage in Salaar and KGF 2 climax are eerily the same. Moreover, it is seen that Prabhas is playing the character of an army soldier. It is further becoming concrete that Salaar and KGF are overlapping in one way or the other. Moreover, the number plate of Salaar’s bike is also based in Mysuru, with which KGF had a strong connection.

An Odd Time To Release The Trailer:
While makers pick the best time to ensure their promos garner a lot of traction, Salaar makers released the teaser at an odd time. The teaser was released at 5:12 am on Thursday, and the reason behind such a move is that Rocky Bhai drowned at the exact time in KGF 2.

The Fax Sent To The Indian Navy
The theory also pointed out that before the Indian Navy killed Rocky Bhai, he sent out a fax. However, it is not known what the contents are. Could it be possible that Salaar and Rocky Bhai knew each other already?
