A group of 350 Muslim devotees, organized by the RSS-backed Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM), recently concluded a six-day foot march from Lucknow to Ayodhya. Amidst the chilling fog and severe cold, the devotees chanted ‘Jai Shri Ram’ as they covered a distance of approximately 150 km on foot. Led by provincial coordinator Sher Ali Khan and MRM convener Raja Raees, the journey aimed to pay homage to Ram Lalla, promoting a message of unity, integrity, sovereignty, and harmony.

The six-day journey began on January 25 when the group set out from Lucknow, as informed by Shahid Saeed, the media in-charge of MRM. Traveling on foot, the devotees encountered challenging conditions, with regular stops every 25 kilometers to rest at night and resume their journey the following morning.

Upon reaching Ayodhya, the devotees, despite worn-out shoes and weary feet, paid their respects to the newly consecrated idol of Ram Lalla. Shahid Saeed highlighted the significance of the devotees’ dignified darshan of Imam-e-Hind Ram, describing it as an enduring and cherished memory.

Sher Ali Khan and Raja Raees, leading the group, emphasized the broader message conveyed through this act. They proclaimed that Lord Ram is the ancestor of all, transcending religious, caste, and creed boundaries. According to them, love for one’s country and fellow humans takes precedence over religious differences. The leaders underscored that no faith advocates judgment, derision, or contempt for others.
