Karnataka State Road Transportation Corporation (KSRTC) offers two unbelievable tour packages from Bengaluru to Jog Falls and Somanathapura.
The state-run transport corporation listed timings, places, and schedules for the trips in a notice posted on the social media site formerly Twitter. “Package tours from Bengaluru to Jog Falls and Bengaluru to Somanathapura,” the KSRTC captioned the post.

“Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has introduced new package tour from Bengaluru to Jog Falls via Shivamogga, Sagara with Non A/C Sleeper service on weekend days (Friday & Saturday) for the convenience of the traveling public w.e.f. 11/08/2023. The time table and fare details is furnished as below,” the corporation’s notice read. The prices for these packages start from ₹2500 for adults, while for children of the ages, six to 12 will be charged ₹2,300.

KSRTC Jog Falls tour package
The journey begins with an overnight ride from Bengaluru to Sagara, commencing at 9:30 pm and concluding at 5 am the following morning. The itinerary includes refreshments at a hotel and breakfast around 7 am. Travelers will explore Varadahalli, Varadamoola, Ikkeri, and Keladi during the day. Lunch is scheduled at Sagara at 12:45 pm, followed by a visit to Jog Falls. After an hour of shopping (7 pm-8 pm), dinner will be served at 8:30 pm before the return journey to Bengaluru at 10 pm.

KSRTC Somanathapura tour package
The trip begins at 6:30 am from Bengaluru, stopping at Maddur for breakfast. Passengers will visit Somanatheshwara temple and Talakadu for Panchalinga darshan, followed by lunch. The tour proceeds to Madhyaranga for Ranganathaswamy darshan and Barachukki and Gaganachukki waterfalls for sightseeing from 4 pm to 6 pm. The return journey to Bengaluru from Gaganachukki Falls is scheduled between 6 pm and 9 pm.
