Diya Kumari hails from a prestigious lineage, born on January 30, 1971, to a family that once ruled Jaipur during the British Raj. Her grandfather, Man Singh II, served as the last Maharaja of Jaipur. Her father, Brigadier Sawai Bhawani Singh, earned the Maha Vir Chakra for bravery during the 1971 India-Pakistan war.
Completing her education at Maharani Gayatri Devi School and Maharani College in Jaipur, Diya Kumari embarked on her political journey in 2013. She secured her position as an MLA from the Sawai Madhopur constituency, focusing on inclusive development in the surrounding rural areas.
