Rumors about actor Sara Ali Khan and cricketer Shubman Gill being in a relationship have been doing the rounds for quite some time now. The speculations arose last month, when the actor and cricketer were spotted together at a restaurant in Mumbai.

The cricketer recently appeared on Preeti and Neeti Simoes’ chat show Dil Diyan Gallan, hosted by Sonam Bajwa. During his appearance, the cricketer was asked a couple of questions about rumored girlfriend Sara Ali Khan. In an appearance on the Punjabi chat show Dil Diyan Gallan, hosted by Sonam Bajwa, he was asked if he is indeed dating Sara. In response to this he answered, “Maybe.” Sonam egged him on, and asked, “Sara ka sara sach bolo (Tell the whole truth),” and Shubman replied, “Sara da sara sach bol diya (I have told the truth). Maybe, maybe not.” ALso when he was asked to name the fittest actor in Bollywood, he replied, “Sara.”

After a few videos of Sara Ali Khan and Shubman from a hotel and a plane emerged in the recent past, a section of online users shared them as proof that something was brewing between them. Videos of Sara and Shubham making their way out of the same hotel and boarding the same flight also convinced fans that the two are dating. Sara was seen in a pink top as she left a hotel lobby, and later posed with fans on a flight. Shubham was seen walking out of the same hotel with his luggage, and catching the same flight as Sara in a video shared on a fan page.
Social media users have reacted to Sara and Shubham’s dating rumors with a range of comments. While some said Bollywood and cricket were ‘inseparable’, others asked the cricketer to focus on his career. A person tweeted, “This bond is very old, even before the 90s. Bollywood and cricket are inseparable, news of affairs just pop up now and then.”
Earlier, Sara was dating Kartik Aaryan but they reportedly parted ways in 2020. She will be next be seen in an untitled movie opposite Vicky Kaushal.
