Renowned sculptor Arun Yogiraj, the mastermind behind the revered Ram Lalla idol enshrined at the Ayodhya Ram temple, basked in a heartwarming reception as he returned to Bengaluru. The accomplished artisan, based in Mysuru, arrived at Kempegowda International Airport’s Terminal 2 (KIA) on Wednesday night, greeted by an exuberant crowd of well-wishers, including BJP supporters and eager members of the media.

Arun Yogiraj descended from the plane to a jubilant reception at KIA. A throng of well-wishers, adorned with smiles and banners, awaited his arrival. Among them were supporters from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and a contingent of media personnel eager to capture the sculptor’s first moments back in Bengaluru. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel played their part in escorting Yogiraj from the terminal, turning the airport into a scene of celebration.

The sculptor’s homecoming, however, was not without its share of chaos. As Arun Yogiraj emerged from the terminal, his family, including his wife Vijetha and child, enveloped him in an emotional embrace, welcoming him back with open arms. Meanwhile, the media circus intensified, with journalists attempting to secure interviews amidst the excited crowd. In a bid to maintain order, city police swiftly intervened, ensuring the sculptor’s safe passage through the tumultuous sea of well-wishers.

 

The overwhelming turnout of media and the public created a challenging situation at the airport, prompting the authorities to step in. Chaos unfolded as police officers worked to manage the crowds, pushing back both media personnel and eager onlookers. The heightened atmosphere spoke volumes about the public’s eagerness to catch a glimpse of the artist behind the iconic Ram Lalla idol.
