Bollywood or the Hindi Film Making Industry has always had an obsession with showcasing the college and college lives of teenagers.
Even if it is not the main plot passing references are made about college during some part of the movie.
From classics like Kuch Kuch Hota hai and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge to newer movies like Studnet of the year-have explored other aspects of college life.
But to make the film more convincing many times they shot these movies on actual college campuses instead of sets.

1. Symbiosis Unversity Pune.
The beautiful campus of Symbiosis university has been showcased in 2 Bollywood films.
The first and most obvious one is the Salman Khan starrer Bodyguard.

2. IIM Ahemdabad.
The immediate movie that comes to mind when someone says IIM is Two states.
This is mainly because of the authenticity of the setting of the movies.
The makers knew about the importance of making a connection with the audience.
Thus keeping this in mind the whole storyline of the movie was shot on the campus of IIM Ahmedabad Institute.
Every aspect of the college that was mentioned in the movie was shot on the original campus and not in the studio.
Two States was shot entirely on the IIM Ahmedabad campus.

The top engineering institute of India as mentioned in 3 idiots was the campus of none other than the IIM Bangalore.
Some parts were surely replicated but the C block, D block and quadrangle (where most of the iconic scenes were shot) were part of the campus.

The campus of this prestigious college is no stranger to the movie as well as advertisement shoots.
