Recently a video is doing its rounds on social media.
This video is an unverified video of a group of girls attacking each other in front of a Bengaluru school.
This incident took place near cotton bishop school Bangalore in school uniforms.
The reason for the fight according to some screenshots allegedly is over a boy named Yogesh whom two girls liked.
In the video, we see girls being pushed down a flight of stairs and a baseball bat makes a brief appearance too before the fight is broken by boys of the school and some bystanders.
Twitter has gone crazy with memes and everyone has some other opinions on the brawl.

Can we please stop sharing videos of the Bishop Cotton’s Girls fight incident. While the scenes are shameful and disturbing, it doesn’t serve any purpose shaming teenagers on social media. The parents have been notified and the school is taking action, let them handle it.

My Opinion
In my opinion, the girls are clearly in the wrong here but the people standing making videos too are somewhat responsible for this fight.
If people would have intervened earlier, this fight could have been stopped and the damage minimised.
Secondly, the fight was blown out of proportion because of the videos being circulated on the internet.
The fact that such a merger fight gained space in mainstream big-name newspapers itself is a sign of how unnecessary this was.
This video will continue to be on the internet even if the girls improve or change they will always have to carry this stain on them.
