Hombale Films, the production house behind the KGF franchise and the highly anticipated upcoming film “Salaar” starring Prabhas, has announced their next project. For the next film, which will be based on a true story, the production house will collaborate with director Sudha Kongara. She is well known for her role in the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru, in which she co-starred with Suriya and Aparna Balamurali.

Hombale Films posted to their social media account, saying, “Some true stories deserve to be told, and told right. We, at Hombale films, are proud to announce our next film with director Sudha Kongara. A story that we are certain will capture India’s imagination like all our films have.”
Sudha Kongara’s most recent film, Soorarai Pottru, was similarly inspired by true events. In November 2020, the movie was launched on Amazon Prime Video and garnered a lot of positive feedback. She’ll also be directing the Hindi remake of the film, which is reported to feature Akshay Kumar.
Meanwhile, Hombale Films has yet to reveal any other information about the project, such as the storyline or the cast.
